At this show, The Join was Jamie Shields and Marco Benevento on keys, with Darren Shearer and Joe Russo on drums. This was a very interesting combination that drew a large crowd.

This is the second time I’ve seen STS9 play at Avalon, which is a pretty good venue for their music. I was late to the show and missed Bassnectar, which is unfortunate, but it was raining and pretty crazy outside, as there was a Red Sox game in progress. Steve Kimock Band at Adirondack Mountain Music Festival. This was my first time seeing SKB, and it was on a sandy peninsula sticking out into a lake. The quality of this recording is unbelievable, almost studio perfect. It also happens to fit on a single CD, and is perfect for kicking back after a long day.
